(All photos taken at the Rio Celeste, Costa Rica.) I’ve walked in jungles and along paths in the middle of nowhere, all alone, where nobody knew where I was and there was no cell phone signal.

I ziplined 17 cables hundreds of meters above the ground.

I gave up stability for the unknown.

I made plans last minute.

I changed plans last minute.

I said yes to unexpected adventures.

I said no to circumstances I didn’t like.

I made amazing new friends.

I lived with roaches, spiders, crickets and beetles.

I didn’t wear makeup for 6 weeks.

I packed into a carry on bag for a 6-week adventure.

I spoke between two and four languages every day.

I ate new food and tried new drinks.

I traveled to “dangerous” places.

And I feel like I’m just beginning and looking forward to this journey!
