(Looking at the gorgeous scenery in Geres, Portugal, wearing my cow t-shirt.) It’s funny how the universe conspires to give you exactly what you need when you need it. As I clean out my apartment and figure out what I’m keeping and what I’m releasing, I came across a folder. It’s from Sedona Soul Adventures. Years ago, when I was trying to figure out what to do about my marriage, I went out to Arizona and did a retreat with them.

So, I opened up this folder, today, and found the words from an exercise I had forgotten about. It was about my self judgments. I remember the exercise – I was asked to state all my fears and judgments about myself and then do a meditation and enter into my higher self and answer each judgment with the truth. My inner truth.

As I read my judgments and my truths I got goosebumps. Many of the truth responses were around me needing to be in my truth, say what I mean, no matter what. And I am just now stepping deeply into this part of myself. Here are a few of my self judgments from back then that helped me feel amazingly supported in this moment as I go 100% in with my adventure and have complete faith in myself and the universe to land where I want to:

Judgment: I fear being judged for making wrong decisions.

Truth (Higher Self): There are no wrong decisions – only lessons to be learned from each choice.

Judgment: Fear of being judged as too different.

Truth: I am different – that’s what makes us all interesting – accept it.

Judgment: I need to change career; it would be way out of line with what I’ve done – fear the judgment of my parents.

Truth: My parents will judge me, but I need to accept myself and own my direction.

And then, there were the reminders from soul:

  • When I get overwhelmed, just stop
  • I can have everything I want in my dreams
  • To have what I want may leave others with difficult feelings – this is OK – I must accept this
  • Do what you love
  • Cheese sandwich

And, of course, I REMEMBER most vividly, my higher self saying “cheese sandwich” because yup, that’s so something I would say to myself!

So, as I continue onwards, what amazing kismet to have found my own words of encouragement to myself! 🙂
